My Pet has died. What do I do next?

For pets that passed away at a veterinary hospital:

Ask your vet what crematory they use as you have a choice where your pet is cremated.

  • If they are partners with us (view Friendships):
    1. You don’t have to do anything!
    2. The veterinary staff will help you fill out our Secure ID forms and will notify us immediately.
    3. Feel free to call us directly at 585-265-9933 if you have questions.
  • If they do not work with our facility: Please understand that you have a choice where your pet is cremated. You DO NOT have to use the facility they suggest.
    1. Please click on the Finalize Your Pet’s Plans tab to request our service and select your pet’s cremation option.
    2. We will handle all of the logistics from there and a Pet Passages® team member will transfer your pet to our facility.
    3. Or call us at 585-265-9933.
