A Peaceful Farewell: Compassionate End-of-Life Care

Saying goodbye to a cherished companion is one of the most difficult journeys we face. At Pet Passages, we believe that your pet’s final moments should be defined by peace, dignity, and unconditional love, not by the stress of a clinical environment.

Many pets feel anxious at a traditional veterinary clinic, and as a pet parent, making these decisions during a crisis can feel overwhelming. In partnership with Stillwaters Veterinary Care, we provide a gentle alternative. Whether you prefer the serenity of our dedicated Comfort Center or the familiarity of your own living room, we are here to guide you through every step of the process.

We are proud to offer professional euthanasia services for dogs, cats, and—with prior consultation—small mammals, birds, and reptiles.

Your Options for Saying Goodbye

We offer two paths for your pet's passage, allowing you to choose the environment that feels right for your family.

Euthanasia at Pet Passages ($180)

If you prefer to say goodbye away from home but want to avoid the "white coat" anxiety of a hospital, our Comfort Center is designed for you. Our Rainbow Bridge rooms provide a soft, living-room atmosphere where you can focus entirely on your pet.

In-Home Euthanasia ($375)

For many pets, home is where they feel safest. In-home euthanasia allows your pet to remain in their favorite bed, under their favorite tree, or surrounded by the familiar scents of family.

Aftercare & Memorialization

The moments following a goodbye should be reserved for reflection and peace, not logistics. At Pet Passages, we believe that aftercare is a vital part of the healing process. Whether you choose a service at our Comfort Center or in your home, we provide professional, dignified cremation and memorialization services at our on-site Care Center.

How to Get Started

We request euthanasia appointments to be coordinated and scheduled at least one day in advance. While we understand that advance planning isn’t always possible, we will do our best to accommodate last-minute requests. Please call our office at 585-265-9933, and our compassionate team will guide you through the scheduling and preparation process.

To ensure your experience is as seamless and stress-free as possible, we require all aftercare decisions and paperwork to be finalized with Pet Passages one day before your scheduled euthanasia appointment. This allows you to focus entirely on your pet during your final moments together.
