Beenie was more than just a pet to me — he was part of my family and brought comfort, peace, and happiness into my life every single day. Even though he was a uromastyx, he had such a unique personality and a calm presence that made him impossible not to love.

He loved basking in his warm spot, watching everything around him, and being near the people he trusted. Over time, he became one of my safe places during difficult moments in life. His little routines, expressions, and gentle nature meant more to me than words can explain.

Losing Beenie on May 9, 2026 completely broke my heart. The house already feels quieter without him here. I never realized how much such a small creature could leave such a huge emptiness behind.

I’m grateful for every moment I had with him, every time I got to hold him, feed him, care for him, and simply sit with him. He was deeply loved and will always be remembered.
