My husband and I brought Hannah home with us in September 2009. He spent all the time training her. She was the best puppy. She bonded the most with him. When my husband got cancer, she never left his side for two years. Then, when he passed away, she was my support. She protected me and gave me such comfort and peace. We loved each other so much. So this is extremely hard for me that she had to leave me. But I wanted her to be so comfortable and die peacefully at home in my arms, and that is exactly what we did. She knew it was time for me to let her go as hard as this was. My Hannah, I can’t stop crying over the loss of you. I love you so much and miss you.
