Apple

Most of Apples story is unknown. I adopted her as a 7 year old senior from Rochester Animal Services. Her vets all think she was much older than 7 and she had a rough health picture. She found me with one eye, blind in the other, and luxating patellas with difficulty walking. She was a 5.6 lb fragile but sassy Shih Tzu who quickly took over our hearts and took over the household. She lost her hearing too, and needed to be touched and cuddled to feel safe and oriented. She had a loud, demanding voice which made us laugh. I have never met a girl like her and we will never be the same after losing her. We only got to have her for 2-1/2 years but she had such an impact on our lives. In the end her tiny heart gave out way too soon and her passing has left an incredible void in our lives. She is survived by her daddy Bill, mommy Leigh Ann and sister Pepper, who doesn’t understand where she has gone. She goes with our hearts to a better place where she can run, see, hear and breathe without pain. We love and miss you Apple with shattered hearts.

Apple has left a paw print on my heart forever. I was blessed to meet her and hold her a couple weeks before her passing. My deepest sympathy to you all.
To know you was to love you, sweet Apple.
