Tessa was pulled from a high kill shelter in Kentucky with one of her puppies and made the trip to NY. I was looking for a rescue because, two months prior to that I had to put down my stray dog of 12 years. Found this “SWEET AND SOULFUL HOUND/LAB MIX” about 1 year old and already had a litter. She gave me 14 years of her love and devotion and I back to her. People who didn’t even know her said she was sweet. She loved people and kids and when Dr. Mandi came to the house and approached her, Tessa, as poorly as she felt, greeted her with a wagging tail, kisses and a happy expression on her face. There will never be another one as “SPECIAL AND LOVEABLE AS HER”.
