Terry was a rat that I adopted from lollypop farm. He had been abandoned in an apartment and the landlord found him and took him to lollypop. The first moment I saw Terry we made eye contact and I just knew that he was the one for me. Terry was like a small dog instead of a rat. Whenever I came home he would greet me by climbing my leg and giving me kisses. He was so incredibly smart and learned how to do tricks. He was very active and was on the move all of the time. I would find him in the bathroom trying to steal things and eat toothpaste. He would grab the end of the roll of toilet paper and run through the house with it. He was definitely one of a kind who I will love forever and never forget. He loved being in the kitchen with me and licking the beaters after I finished making cookie dough. He loved anything he could get his little tongue on. He was a huge part of lives and we miss him so so much. He was more loving and affectionate than any animal I have ever had. The last 6 months of his life he slowed down a lot. We found out he had diabetes and I had to give him insulin shots twice daily. He started to breathe rapidly and then we found out he had a large tumor in his chest. He had also lost feeling in his back legs so he had to drag them when he walked. I knew that I needed to put him down. It was one of the hardest choices I have ever made but I had to do it for him. I would never let my baby boy suffer. He brought so much joy to me and put a smile on my face every day. I love and miss my sweet boy so much but Now he is in heaven running on all four legs again.
