Maya, aka. Maya Star, aka. Moose, aka. Moosie, aka. Moota Cheese, aka. Pretty Girl. When Dad saw you on the breeders website, he knew he had to have you! You were the cutest puppy hed ever seen! He stopped what he was doing, got in the car and drove to New Hampshire. The two of you spent the night in a hotel where you caused your first ruckus! Little did we know it was only the beginning! I’m sure the trauma of you jumping out of the car window will be with Dad forever! You were always spoiled! You ruled the roost, for sure! WE MISS YOU SO MUCH! We were so blessed to have you for the short time that we did. We wish it could’ve been forever. Marco misses you too. You were the naughty dog who made us laugh, ruled our home and protected us fiercely, lol. We wont get into the times you were doing your job to protect your family You loved your walks almost as much as food! Not being able to say no to that pretty face made for some very bad habits! You were so good to your sissy who you allowed to show her love by choking you out; you tolerated that, for the most part but we all laughed when you were not in the mood and gave her a little growl when she entered the room (hahahaha!) We will always remember you getting on the couch after we went to sleep (naughty girl) or protecting us from the stair landing (good girl). When we rescued Marco, you were nice enough to tolerate him but made sure he understood his place! Even though you showed him tolerance, it was clear that came to love him. Again, he misses you terribly and we keep reassuring him that he will see you again, just like we will. We will always remember your excitement when we would walk through the door or grab your leash. You were truly the most loyal, protective, regal, majestic dog. You were one of a kind, Maya, and we will love and miss you forever. Have fun in Heaven with your other mom, enjoy your walks and don’t eat Joey, he’s your brother! Say hello to Hanna and Luke.
