We got Jackson from a Mennonite family near Canandaigua, NY. He fit in between the palms of your hands. We were full time RVers at that point and motorcycle riders. Jackson quickly adapted to the traveling lifestyle making friends no matter where we went. My husband made a crate that fit on the back seat of my motorcycle that Jackson loved to ride in. He would bark when I was going slow but as soon as I got above 30 MPH he would lay down and enjoy the ride. Later in his life he became a service dog for my husband and even saved his life once by alerting our friends to a medical problem my husband was having in our motorhome when I was not home. He was always a loving, faithful companion and leaves a huge hole in the life of many. Rest easy “pork chop”, your job is done. We will see you again.
