Howie was one of the pups from my first litter of English Cocker Spaniels. I held him in my hands and welcomed him to the world. He was my keeper out of a litter of 8. Howie never disappointed . He was a show dog earning his Grand Championship in great style with one of his wins at the English Cocker National in 2012. We also participated in agility, rally, tricks, Canine Good Citizen and more earning many titles. He was a great buddy doing whatever I asked of him. He lived a great life and sired many litters. I have 2 of his sons with me. His death came very quickly. Thanksgiving Day he was fine, by the next morning he was not. Unfortunately the tests run that day were inconclusive and he crashed the following day holding him in my arms as he moved to the rainbow bridge to join his Mom and Dad. He leaves a huge hole in my heart, He was a great companion and had quite a fan club. I’ll love and miss you till we meet again.
