In February of 2020 we adopted 2 geese from Lollypop Farm who I would later name Millie and Willie. Millie was thought to have some sort of neurological issues and of course I immediately fell in love with her. A few weeks later we found out Millie was suffering from a viral infection that caused her to have horrible seizures. The seizures started in March and after being treated at Cornell Animal Hospital she was seizure free for about 4 months. Then on July 27th the seizures started again and were worse than ever. We started her on anticonvulsants ASAP but it was just too much for her this time and at 2:07am on July 28th, 2020 Millie passed away in my arms as I slept with her on our bathroom floor. I am so grateful for the few months she had that were seizure free and she was able to have fun and splash in her pool and eat her lettuce. She will always hold a very special place in our hearts. Her mate Willie is deeply mourning the loss of his love. Mom and dad and Henry (her goose brother) , Toby and Torque (dog brothers) will miss you more than we ever thought would be possible. Fly high my beautiful Millie May. Love you so very much.
