This sunny Monday, February 17th 2020 at noon, our sweet girl Lily found peaceful rest. She was surrounded by love and family, her BunBun (Lisa) and gentle, caring vet for more than 15 years, Dr. Zimber. Words fail in describing her, but all who knew and loved this feisty gal understood her endless loyalty and ability to win over the most hardened of haters, to whom she brought smiles and laughter in spite of themselves. Lilith, LaLa, Lilhelm, Littlest of the Lils, BleeBlah, Little Fat…you truly were the very heart of us. No fight was too big, no adoration too small.I will never be able to thank enough those who brought this amazing person-whos-not-a-person into my life: Trisha who went beyond to rescue her from certain death, Dee who fostered her with all her heart and Deniz who was the OG Mama, nurturing and respecting her for the Diva she was.Lily, you’ve seen me through everything. I can only hope Ive given you a fraction of what you have me Rest easy, run free and nose-shark and eat frenchfries to your hearts delight.
