Brady was brought to us by my niece Dani, his first Mom, when he 6 months old. He was such a happy boy and we started enjoying his funny antics. He would go outside and play in the puddles in the back yard.
He was 100 lbs before he was 1yr. Such a big boy but he would sit on his Daddy’s lap. Daddy would come home from work and Brady would wait for him to come in the door and then bring him a toy and wait for rubbies for his Dad.
Brady became Bob’s shadow when they were in the yard. He would follow when Bob was mowing and if he found a stick or log that was still in the yard he would pick it up and show Bob that he missed it.
Brady was a good protector of the house. If a person, dog or delivery truck came in front of the house the would bark and bark. He loved chasing squirrels and deer out of the yard.
When family and friends would visit he would be the first to greet them of course with a toy and wait for them to give him a treat. He would tear apart boxes when we had a delivery. He would chew off the arms and legs of his toys and then would poop them out so Daddy would see where they went. Such a silly boy.
He had to have 5 teeth taken out which was stressful. I would take his treats and cut them in small pieces for him while he was healing.
When taking him to vets he would love going for a ride and when we got there we would have to take him in back door or make sure no other dogs were in the waiting room. He was 169lbs atone time which made it hard for us to get him in Jeep. We changed to Doorbell Vets and that was a blessing in his care. They came to our home and he was happy to see them.
On April 23rd they were here for medical issue and we found out he had anal cancer. So sad. Dr Turner was such a blessing to have her taking care for his needs. She would call us when I contacted them for any reason and we talk about what we need to do.
On July 14th Brady went to heaven. Such a hard time but we couldn’t let him suffer more. Dr Turner came to the house and took care of Brady. Such a peaceful and blessing that he was able to pass at home. Then Pet Passages came for him. He was treated with such care by all.
We got many hugs and condolences for all. We are thankful for the kindness they showed.
WE MISS YOU BRADY SO MUCH!
SENDING YOU LOTS OF HUGS AND KISSES 💋.
